Micro and small enterprises preparing a new delayed-payment application should not rely on an old Samadhaan tutorial. The official Samadhaan filing page now states that all new delayed-payment applications are to be filed on the MSME ODR portal at odr.msme.gov.in.
Before starting, assemble the Udyam or enterprise details, buyer identity, purchase or work order, invoices, delivery or acceptance proof, payment terms, ledger and correspondence seeking payment. Preserve the original files and combine documents only as the portal instructs. The Ministry’s FAQ has long treated a work order as important evidence; where an order was oral, it describes an affidavit route. Current ODR fields and document requirements should control the actual filing.
The portal is an intake and dispute-resolution route, not an automatic payment guarantee. Use the acknowledgement or case number to track the matter, respond within portal timelines and contact the relevant facilitation or ODR authority shown in the case.
Existing Samadhaan cases should be tracked through their existing case-status route unless the official portal specifically directs otherwise.
