A company-name or domain search does not tell you whether a brand is clear for trade-mark use. Before investing in signage, packaging or advertising, search the Trade Marks Registry’s official public-search tools.
Start with the word or logo elements customers will remember. Search identical and similar spellings, phonetic variants and joined or separated forms. Repeat the search in every goods-and-services class relevant to what the business sells now and plans to sell. Note the application number, owner, class, status and description of goods or services for results that appear close.
The IP India site provides public search, goods-and-services classification, application-status and filing resources. A no-result screen is not legal clearance: search terms may miss visual, phonetic or cross-class conflicts, and database status can change. Save dated search notes and consider a trade-mark professional where the brand matters commercially.
Do not copy another mark because its application is pending or appears inactive. Status and enforceable rights require case-specific review.
