India Post-Blue Dart Parcel Agreement: What It Covers

घटना की तारीख: Agreement signed 9 October 2026 in New Delhi.

Department of Posts और Blue Dart Express Limited ने India Post Parcel services के लिए agreement किया है। 9 अक्टूबर को New Delhi में signed partnership का उद्देश्य Blue Dart shipments के लिए India Post के nationwide delivery network का उपयोग बढ़ाना है, खासकर semi-urban, rural और underserved areas में।

Official release के अनुसार arrangement में prepaid और cash-on-delivery parcels, OTP-based delivery authentication और real-time shipment tracking शामिल हैं। Blue Dart को Department of Posts के 1.64 लाख से अधिक post offices वाले network तक last-mile access मिलेगा, जबकि India Post को additional parcel volume और organised logistics experience मिलने की उम्मीद है।

Customer के लिए अभी सबसे जरूरी सीमा यह है कि announcement में launch date, retail tariff, delivery-time guarantee या eligible pin codes की पूरी list नहीं दी गई है। Parcel book करने से पहले seller या courier से serviceable pin code, promised delivery window, COD condition, return process और tracking ID लिखित में लें। Partnership की headline अपने-आप किसी individual shipment की guarantee नहीं है।
