India Scheduled to Host Global Legal Metrology Meeting in Delhi on October 26–28

New Delhi, 26 October 2026: India is scheduled to host the 61st meeting of the International Committee of Legal Metrology from October 26 to 28, according to the Department of Consumer Affairs announcement published by PIB on October 19.

The programme is being organised with the International Organization of Legal Metrology. An international seminar is scheduled for October 26, followed by a strategy workshop on October 27. The announced agenda includes digitalisation, measuring-instrument recognition and international cooperation.
