An old card or saved screenshot may not answer a question about the current electoral roll. Check the relevant official entry and note when you checked it.
The Election Commission’s electoral-search service offers searches by EPIC and by personal details. Use accurate information from your own record and confirm that the result belongs to you rather than someone with a similar name.
Compare the details displayed and preserve the reference privately. If a search produces no result, first check for a typing error or an incorrect search selection. An unsuccessful search alone does not establish why a record is absent.
For a persistent mismatch or missing entry, consult the official electoral authority’s current guidance. Keep a concise account of what you searched and the result so the query can be investigated.
Do not use another person’s entry to infer misconduct or publish their details. This is an individual record-checking guide, independent of any party or candidate.
The guide does not announce an election date, a revision deadline or automatic eligibility. Application and correction procedures must be checked against the relevant authority’s current notice.
