When a flight refund is unresolved, a clear booking history helps distinguish the airline’s decision from the payment or travel-agent stage.
Keep the booking reference, itinerary, payment receipt and the cancellation or change message. Record who cancelled the service, what alternative was offered and what you accepted. These details can matter more than a broad statement that the journey went wrong.
Ask the airline or booking channel for a written refund status and reference. If one party says the money has already been passed on, retain that statement and ask the party holding the next step to explain the status.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation describes AirSewa as a platform for air-travel grievances, including refunds, cancellations, baggage and airport services. Use the current official process and include the relevant earlier correspondence.
Keep documents readable and remove unrelated personal information. Save the grievance acknowledgement so later follow-up refers to the same case.
A refund, rebooking and compensation are different questions. This guide does not promise that every disrupted flight qualifies for the same payment or deadline. Check the applicable current rules and the facts of the booking rather than relying on a generic compensation figure from an advertisement.
