A digital life certificate can save a pensioner an unnecessary journey, but correct pension details matter as much as successful authentication.
Jeevan Pramaan’s official FAQ asks for pension-related information, including the PPO number, pension account and the relevant sanctioning and disbursing authorities. Prepare those details from reliable pension records before beginning.
Choose a supported method described by the official service. The FAQ covers biometric-device and face-app routes; their requirements differ. Do not assume that simply opening the website generates a certificate.
After generation, retain the Pramaan ID and acknowledgement. The FAQ states that the digital certificate is subject to approval by the authority identified by the pensioner. A generated certificate and an accepted certificate are therefore different milestones.
The service says the certificate becomes electronically available to the disbursing agency. Check its status through the official facility and contact that agency if a rejection or mismatch appears.
Jeevan Pramaan is an additional way to submit a life certificate, rather than the only method for every pensioner. Confirm your authority’s current requirements and applicable submission window. This guide does not announce a universal November deadline or advise that every pensioner is eligible for every digital route.
